Background

Custom Resource Types in the NZ and IZ

There are benefits of moving custom resource types that multiple campuses use to the NZ, freeing up local types for truly local items

Current Practice

(This isn’t changing metadata, it’s using existing metadata to alter the display in Primo. If actual metadata needs to be changed or added, then we’d need to loop Resource management into the decision)

Once a decision has been made and vetted by the DISC team…

  • Add the requested information to the Custom Resource Type Table below

  • Send a ticket to sils-sysops@cdlib.org

  • Note when implementation is complete
