All Chairs: Cancelled again

OT:

FRBR WIP group met last week with Ex Libris. Ask: Can FRBR work for consortia? Does seem like they understand what we need at this time.

Jackie is rolling off the group at FY. Jenifer Carter (Discovery, UCB. They/Them) will be replacing Jackie and observing until then.

Slack/General Questions

CDL - Have any campuses turned on Primo RA in production yet?

  • Production (hidden): UCR

  • Sandbox: UCD, UCSB

  • Long story short: No. No one has it turned on here.

UCB - Custom resource types, specifically for Braille items, but are there others to add to NZ?

  • Captions, Subtitles, Large Type, and more…

Jessica will throw together the relevant MARC fields that could be leveraged for braille and other accessibility information (subtitles, etc.)

PrimoVE May Features Release

Are there features that campuses plan on testing?

Does anyone know if “Support AZ List in Database and Journal Searches” includes NZ Electronic Resources?

  • We need a list of NZ only electronic resources in order to test.

Is there interest in harmonizing about the new AZ list? UCLA has concerns - we rely heavily on our LibGuides database list, and it doesn’t look like the Primo feature supports all of our needs.

  • It would be helpful to have a list of what the needs are and what’s missing.
