Who is our legal contact? Trevor Finneman: UC Legal representative working with CDL. (Rachael). Will other campus legal reps need to be involved? Tag team between Berkeley and UCOP. If other campuses' legal connections need to be involved, we can get them looped in. Let’s gather the information from individual campuses and into one single document.
Who is the person at ExL you should be contacting? Gem started with the account manager. There is an existing ticket open. Besides the account manager, who else is in the escalation chain? Account Manager: Adriana Pilecky-Dekajlo. Is it possible to identify an accessibility contact in ExL? We could ask, but they can also tell us to go through the support center. Also, could talk to the lead of the accessibility team.
Identifying accessibility issues. Could start with the Accessibility Conformance Report…. And test some items and see how that goes. Could use an automated tool to identify issues. How would we unearth user-based issues without taking on the burden of testing? Could do some outreach to ask for colleagues with disabilities to help us learn more about their experience with the system.
