When bibliographic records in Alma share inventory, such as with bound-withs and some analytics, the UC Network Zone is not always able to view the shared inventory and can treat the related records as though they lacked inventory during batch deletions. In order to avoid accidentally deleting records that are in use at a campus but lack any inventory of their own, a 910 field should be added by campuses to both the parent and child records. There are normalization rules in the NZ that can be applied both for one-off cataloging or in batch. The rules are campus-specific in order to allow campuses to update their own information.

There are no other prescribed standardized practices for creating bound-withs or analytics in the UC NZ.
