Reasoning
The 899 is listed as an NZ index in Alma and no one is using it for anything at this time.
Background
The UC “discovery network” allows IZ-only bibs to be discoverable between campuses. This is generally a benefit since it allows campuses to keep some bibliographic records in their IZ and still be visible to other campus users. However, there is still a need to keep some records from showing up between campuses (equipment, etc.). Primo can utilize a MARC tag with specific text to do this so the ICs asked PPC to review and decide if one could be proposed. RMFG has decided on the 899.
