Jason

Someone’s got to do it and you can’t avoid it forever…

4

P2P group update

5

Available subgroup members

brief update

subgroup member schools are all set up now w/ P2P but are still working out the digitization request set up

5

Analytics / paper tracking planning

10

Sabrina

shared example of UCB tracking sheet (also keeping paper slips w/ request info)

Track for June if you can!

@Amador, Alicia and @Kristen Van Vliet to check in with respective RLF to see if they can track their June AFN digi requests also

6

Do we need a subgroup for pickup anywhere problems?

10

Jason

potential ideas:
1: edit pickup/route item after it hits the holdshelf
2: create local user account for other UC’s patron in order to allow ILL pickup at other campus
3: discovered staff can manually create RS req for a network user

Questions:
1: Does Analytics anonymize pickup location?
2: Can we reliably use Analytics to identify requests that users have placed where their chosen pickup is a non-home location that couldn’t be fulfilled correctly to the non-home location?

revisit at a later meeting; do some Analytics digging

7

Capture important topics for future discussion

Analytics – Volunteer campuses: take a Month(June) for manual/paper request tracking to compare known AFN requests with what’s appearing in Analytics

[RS OST SC notes 5/1/23: This is really old! Do we have a ticket for it??? hold for consideration post Tipasa implementation]: ‘pick up anywhere exceptions’: review shared messages, what would be next steps
metrics on how often ‘pick up anywhere’ requests have to be changed to home campus (Jason) → may lead to: editing pu loc for this requests → may lead to: harmonizing bookbands
