For resource sharing requests that cannot be filled within Alma’s Automated Fulfillment Network (AFN), Alma will send these emails to a resource sharing partner configured as ILLiad. The ILLiad to VDX Email Adapter (IVEA) translates this email from an ILLiad format to the format used by VDX, UC’s current interlibrary loan broker. The IVEA application was developed and is maintained by CDL’s Resource Sharing team.
