Any UC library staff person may submit an Alma or Primo enhancement under the consortial ELUNA membership maintained by CDL. Campuses with their own individual ELUNA membership (in addition to the consortial membership) are also able to submit CERV (formerly known as NERS ) enhancements independently of this procedure.

There are two ways you can submit an enhancement request: directly via ELUNA’s website or by requesting that SILS Operation Center submits it on your behalf. Please reach out to your local Operations Team representative to determine your campus' individual process for this.

Direct Enhancement Submission

The process for submitting an enhancement request directly can be found on ELUNA’s website.

Submission via the SILS Operations Center

If you wish for the SILS Operations Center to submit your enhancement request:

Contact SOC at sils-sysops@cdlib.org with your enhancement request. After submitting the enhancement request, SOC will send a copy of the submitted request to you.

These are the fields ELUNA requires of enhancement requests.

  • Product (Alma or Primo)

  • Request Name

  • Request Description

  • Module/Category (if Alma)

    • Alma values: Acquisitions, Administration, Analytics, Fulfillment, Interoperability & Integration, Resource Management, Electronic Resources, All

  • Attachment (optional)
