6 | Elizabeth Mirgalia (Resource Management FG chair) | Most campuses want to migrate their Spec Coll RLF records. But fulfillment is an issue. Issue is that users will find and item that is "at a campus" but that is not actually at that campus and therefore cannot be fulfilled. Challenge is to better understand how these requests are mediated. If a collection is split between RLF and campus? This comes down to making items requestable where requests are managed (campus). Need to triangulate how Aeon fits into this. Unclear fulfillment-wise that which piece of the metadata is generating the request. The hope is that we can "keep the bib data and get the inventory to the right place." Terms of use to mitigate expectations for requesting items. These issues will be worked out during test phase (March-April). January: prepping for test load. Test will look more at harmonization than vanguard did. | ||||
