Discussion items
Item | Desired Outcome | Time | Who | Notes | Decisions | Actions | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Welcome Elizabeth Marglia | Review of decisions making process for bib records in vanguard/testing | 35 min | Danelle | Elizabeth Miraglia PPC | Liz discussed some issues they may be reviewing and indicated that they will send issues to ASCEL for high level responses, then to the Special Collections Cataloging & Metadata CKG for specific actions. Some areas of concern: 9xx fields, Aeon integration, data protection. | Interoperability with Aeon/PrimoVE raised by Kevin (UCD) as an issue. Need to share this concern with other groups to raise its profile. Liz noted that we might need to consider whether all campuses needs to use the same terminology for Aeon or not. |

| Some testing plans are still being vetted, but when we have plans and other documentation (UCLA is developing roles and responsibilities for testers, workflow for gathering feedback, scripts, etc.) we will post them in our area for sharing. | Campus representatives will gather their testing plans and highlight issues relevant to ASC so we can compare items of interest. Jasmine has created a space to share testing plans and related documentation: Institutional Testing Plans |
