Appoint a co-Chair by Monday.

So I need a volunteer. This person would serve as a backup for me when I am on vacation or have a conflict. The SILS PPC group currently meets every Friday from 2:30-4 via zoom.

Mary Elings has volunteered! Thank you Mary!

The second agenda item relates to the wish list that we started and that is listed under the brainstorm document on the wiki.

The goal is to send this list to the relevant CKGs and to the SILS subgroups. We need to distribute our needs ASAP as the process is moving very quickly.

  • scoping search to limit to spec coll/archives only. Is this limited by material type or location?

  • Advocating for spec coll/archives specific needs in greater SILS project. Concern that our needs are not well represented in functional groups. What can we do to advocate for these needs?

    • Bring brainstormed list of needs to PPC and ask for their guidance on how to incorporate these

    • Disseminate list to functional groups and ckgs.

  • Where are PPC notes and list of decisions/issues tracked. here?

  • Jasmine question: Is there just one load for the vanguard campuses?

  • Kathryn question: can there be a prioritization of this list?

    • Group agreed that we should review and prioritize this list before presenting outside of ASCEL.

@Danelle Moon (Unlicensed) will check with PPC chair on list of decisions. Distribute to ASCEL members.
All: send your top priority items from the list by June 8.
@Kevin Miller (Unlicensed) will make a pass over list to remove redundancy.
@Danelle Moon (Unlicensed) will reprioritize the list based on everyone’s feedback for June 11 meeting.
