Agenda and Notes
Plan out next steps and dates
Timeline updated on 07/05/2022
Should develop guidelines, criteria, principles (deliverable #1) before training (Feb to end of July)
July-August - plan training
End Oct-Nov - start training (to avoid busy start of year for both quarter/semester)
August - Nov - Develop documents, processes, and workflows
Nov- Dec - executive summary and add to it the 3 deliverable documents = final report
Our report is planned for September but that was when we expected to spin up this group in November 2021. - Everyone agreed to extend to December 2022.
Notes: - training could be 50 mins and then 20 mins for Q*A. Ask people to send questions in advance, and then anonymize questions and show them to everyone. Find out is UCB has any IS-3 training materials that we can reuse. Record the training to make it viewable and captioned - anonymize the questions. See if we can get a Zoom webinar . Get a training outline ready by Mid-August. Get the policies document codified in the draft form by week of July 11. Work in real time on a dummy document during the training - views for dummy patron data. Salwa to see if we can get an instruction librarian to help design the training outline/curriculum.
Dates – Nov 15 from 11 to 12:30pm and Nov 30 from 1 to 2:20pm
Send to SILS LG asap
Send to UC-wide as save the date in Aug / Reminder in Sept
Should highly encourage LG and OT to attend – or offer to come to one of their meetings to present to them for greater buy-in.
