Round robin workplan updates

  • Decision Tree Feedback from Discovery Team - Google Doc

Check in on progress on our ongoing action items

Madelynn / All

  • Decision tree feedback:

    • Discovery team discussed the companion doc, decision tree, and questionnaire--looks fine.

    • Feedback considers pros/cons of collection-level and item-level records.

    • Discovery is concerned about labels in Primo

    • Alma/Primo links included in the feedback – these seem to point out to potential workflows to better support digital records/representation.

    • Question: Do we even have the module that would support connecting collections<-->items? Perhaps this is a recommendation we need to put forward?

  • More q’s from the Discovery team:

    • Digital content to CDI/NZ/IZ?

  • IZ vs. NZ--what’s the difference, how are they distinct, and how do you choose where things go?

  • @Madelynn Dickerson (Unlicensed) to reply to Discovery with some of our thoughts, and with some language from the companion doc.

  • @Madelynn Dickerson (Unlicensed) will summarize the questionnaire and send it to Operations, and will be seeking a single response from each campus.

  • Also to ask Discover what the distinction of IZ and NZ (zones) are, and how to identify where things (content?) should go.

Check in on draft report outline

Progress towards a draft by our deadline

Madelynn / All

  • Questions around Alma/Primo and Calisphere/OAI? Does DCPT need to check-in with Calisphere on this? When would Calisphere be ready to do this? (When would campuses be ready to do this, if this is what they would like to do?) The visibility assessment/questionnaire may help provide a sense of next steps.
