Confirm Scheduling for 2024/2025

Does the current scheduling work for everyone?

Consensus seems to be yes.

Jared will reach out to the rest of the committee for confirmation.

4

Slack/General Question

10

UCSC: Primo Database Search functionality. Is anyone using as a LibGuides alternative?

UCB: Previously subscribed ebooks, with no activation and no portfolios still indicate online availability.

Current A-Z lists in SpringShare are manual and require a lot of upkeep. The desire is something that can serve the same purpose and be automatic.
Davis: No real comparison, just thinking about it.
Still a lot of questions about what features a viable replacement must have, such as browsability.

5

Review Charge

10

Discovery Charge. Still accurate?

Jared and Zoe will get together to review this and massage the harmonization aspect of the charge.

6

Work plan

5

What do we want to work on this year?

Discovery Work plan

We need to pare down the workplan, update stuff that’s been completed. Review priorities.
Accessibility team is in progress and Ex Libris is focusing on the Next Discovery Experience which is supposed to include the accessibility concerns.
