Agenda and discussion notes
Item | Desired Outcome | Time | Who | Notes | Decisions | Actions | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Housekeeping | Opportunity for co-chairs and members to share brief announcements and notices. | 00:05 | Ginny, Aislinn |

2 | RLF SILS Planning Group (RSPG) proposal for integration into SILS Phase 4 | SGTF feedback on the proposal for integration is requested. Feedback can be shared directly in the google doc; this time is reserved for discussion and to clarify any requested edits, if needed. | 00:15 | Cathy |
| Decision: The integration proposal (for the RCTF to be a task force in phase 4) is appropriate. However, some SGTF had some concerns about whether this group should be charged right now to carry out this work (is it implementation or post-go-live?). Some SGTF members also noted that the RCTF should consider how its work may overlap with other existing groups (both within and outside of the SILS structure). | Action: Cathy will take the SGTF’s feedback to the RSPG/RCTF and they will consider edits to their charge. RSPG/RCTF will consult with the SILS WG. If further advice on integration is needed, SGTF will be consulted with again. |
3 | SGTF mid-phase assessment | Update from Alan and Kevin, and opportunity for discussion. Further review and refinement of the assessment scope and goals. | 00:30 | Alan, Kevin | Ran out of time. Hold for Aug. 21. |

Future agenda items
Further work on assessment, as led by the subgroup (Alan, Kevin).
Further discuss UCLAS, what we might learn from an assessment of our phase 4 shared gov. structure, and initial and ongoing shared governance needs.
Initial brainstorm/discussion about operational SILS shared governance (based on the assumptions already identified).
The SILS mission is to transform library services and operations through innovation and collaboration. The future is shared!
