3	Outreach from Discovery Functional Group on Usability Testing in Vanguard	Revisiting our Testing Document Test drive?	30		Digital Collections: Usability Task List For the duration of the month of November, the Discovery FG will turn our focus to some initial user experience testing of the Primo VE Vanguard, with a subgroup specifically focused on digital collections. As we know your group of Digital Collections FG also has a deep interest in how digital collections records and services display, we are reaching out to learn how you might like to be involved in this work. You can review the outline of our process and the scope of our work here. We’ve also included additional useful documentation below. How involved do you see your group getting in this work? Do you have topics you would like to make sure are usability tested? Do you have any scripts you would like to share? Do you see yourselves, or a subgroup of yourselves, conducting any of this testing directly alongside our subgroup? Would our attendance at one of your meetings help with planning and idea generation? If you have topics or scripts to share, or any other ideas, we would appreciate having these before November 6 at the latest. Useful documentation: Discovery UX Evaluation Sub-Groups & Process Vanguard Usability Testing sub-folder in the Discovery FG’s Google Drive' space where our groups can put any docs/sheets that you create for this work. This page has access to user personas and tips for test scripts, as well as a very useful reading list of UX Assessment Literature that our colleagues at the CSUs compiled during their project. Since we know the content that will go in the vanguard, we have ae better idea of different examples that might be appropriate or different user groups. Think of scenarios and tasks.
