Ready to share with Discovery Team as a draft?

Jump to the Display Section Mapping and then see below that Facets Section Mapping. Lisa and I think that the Discovery FG should be involved in this discussion/decision after Go-Live.

Questions about mapping “institution” facet.

Ask Discovery Team, CSU’s perhaps, about possibilities.

For their dissertation (completed 2019), Jackson Huang of the University of Michigan Library analyzed a collection (“Chinese in California”) available at Bancroft, OAC, Calisphere, and DPLA and identified some really important issues regarding the loss of context for items as they made their way into these sites and the impact of that loss.  https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/handle/2027.42/149641/Huang_Jackson_20190507_Final-MTOP-Thesis.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y

Read dissertation in advance of meeting on July 12th.

Kate had posted to Slack: Can we revisit a previous discussion about the COLLECTIONS feature in Alma/Primo VE?

So far Kate has found that everything has to be in Alma first, in order to create the collections.

UCI has one collection of this type.
