Asana

Discuss how we want to use Asana

Tamara gave us an overview of some of the features of Asana.

We’ll plan to try out Asana and see if we find it useful.

Testing negotiation licenses.

Continued Testing

  • Verified that NZ vendor codes will not overwrite in campus.

    • If codes don’t match, the IZ will see the same code as the NZ uses.

    • If codes do match, the NZ will be prefixed with NZ_

    • This means campuses may see NZ licenses in two different places.

    • However, since information isn’t overwritten, CDL can determine its own license code naming convention.

Parking Lot / Overflow

May start meeting Thursdays at 2pm to account for time we won’t be available during November/December.

Week of October 31 - Document how negotiation licenses work (what works well and what doesn’t)?

Week of November 7 - order feedback from campuses

Week of November 14 - Sample data in production

For future agenda:

  • Create instructions on creating new vendors.

  • Document when to use different types of vendors

  • Documentation on creating order records.

Best Practice: How long to wait for collection to show in CZ vs creating local record? Inventory subteam will look and probably send to Eres for further discussion.

Vanderbilt integrated with Oracle and did a presentation on it.
