4	DOC update		Sarah T.	Direction & Oversight Committee Met on 8/20/24 The UC http://protocols.io trial is up, will assess level of systemwide interest in renewing membership. Subgroup of DOC members finalizing the Framework to Support Innovation proposal DOC discussed the Process for Reporting SILS Principles Concerns document. DOC is generally supportive of having a process in place for future issues that arise. ST added two edits to the document based on DOC’s conversation: add DOC as a source of support earlier in the process. Given that many Chairs/Vice Chairs are not supervisors, DOC members could help provide guidance in trickier situations. clarify what is meant by “manager”--I am pretty sure we meant direct supervisor.		next steps: SILS LG to incorporate edits/comments within the document. ST will then share with DOC again via email, and will offer DOC members the option of a follow-up discussion within DOC if desired.
