4 | Process/timeline for finalizing FY24 stats |
| 30 | Anna | What are the remaining tasks and deadlines for this statistics cycle? Anna sent out a Gantt Chart this morning (1/13) to lay it all out. UCL/UCOP next steps:
Preliminary look at the ACRL/IPEDS/ARL steps. Outstanding decision needed: what format should these stats be in when they’re delivered to members? Survey format (how they were delivered in FY22-23) or is a list of questions and corresponding answers sufficient? ACRL/IPEDS will be delivered to campuses with the ACRL/IPEDS headers. (They are hidden tabs now). Actions: Daisy to work on Draft PDF Summary. We will receive the draft by the 15th of January, and we will need to have it approved by the 27th of January. Approving UCL/UCOP stats on Jan 27 means they are finalized before ACRL/IPEDS and ARL. Any changes that are surfaced through those reviews will be applied to the FY24-25 build, but will not be applied to the finalized FY23-24 UCL/UCOP report. Ultimately documentation of this process will go into a decision page. Anna will send an email to ask if this works for everyone who was not able to attend today. Daisy will also be working on finalizing the ACRL/IPEDS sheets. When they are available, we can make comments if there are questions or differences with campus submittals for 2022-2023. We will need to make a decision on what to report for the ACRL physical counts (question 40a). Strict definition vs modified. If strict, we will need verbiage to explain the drop. Explanation of history will be useful. It would be best if we all do the same thing. Anna will email. |
