Decision requested - withdrawn stats - 5 min

Should we include withdrawn stats in the final public UCL/UCOP report?

  • Recommendation: do not include withdrawn stats in the FY24 UCL/UCOP stats.

Decision: no, do not include withdrawn stats.

4

Decision requested - detailed public report - 5 min

What format should the detailed public report take: spreadsheet, PDF, or both? This would be in addition to the Summary PDF.

Decision: detailed report should be a spreadsheet. There is no need for an additional PDF.

Discussion item - process for finalizing FY24 UCL/UCOP stats - 20 min

  1. What should our process be for finalizing the FY24 UCL/UCOP stats?

    1. Suggestion to group: Each campus reviews the FY24 UCL/UCOP stats to the level they feel is useful and doable. If a campus reviews the high-level snapshot overview and feels at peace with the totals, they can accept these to finalize their FY24 UCL/UCOP stats (by doing so they are also implicitly accepting their detailed stats); if a campus wants to dig into the details before giving final acceptance, they are welcome to do so but this is not required. Please flag any questions/areas for clarification with Anna and Daisy before Dec. 20 (conversations may take place after the new year).

      1. How does this approach sit with folks? Is this Dec. 20 deadline doable, or are folks already out on vacation?

      2. What should the deadline be for finalizing the UCL/UCOP stats and getting them posted to the UC Libraries website?

      3. Note: This discussion will only focus on finalizing the UCL/UCOP stats. Discussions about finalizing ACRL, IPEDS, and ARL stats will take place after the new year.

Process:

  1. All: Share data asap with campus colleagues and ask for their questions, via email or whatever other campus-specific communication tool. Public google sheet link (no commenting, no un-hiding) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kAJI1MnX0aH5ve8qAmK14h4mv63uBVJ4/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=115041279638803127525&rtpof=true&sd=true Dec 16, 2024

  2. Due date for questions is this Friday December 20. (Understood that many campus colleagues will be out and that January can work if necessary.)
