Some complications:

  • More collapsed groups? Like “Journal (Ceased publication)” bundled into “Journal”?removing this question for FY23/24 (to keep the decision simple), can take up in a future year/iteration

  • More removing of formats, e.g. “ - Microfilm” and “ - Microfiche.” This gets complicated because “Microforms” is also its own resource type.

  • Group approved removing “electronic” and “physical” designation from the resource type labels

    • "Detailed All Data" view (tables) will include the original resource types

    • Final reports will have the revised resource types

Steps for reviewing data and creating deliverables

  1. Make adjustments to campuses that weren’t matching

  2. Compare numbers to last year (Individually or systematically?)

  3. Run numbers by our local teams

  4. Make any adjustments to algorithms and formatting

  5. Final Run

  6. Write cover letter (starting next meeting?)

    • Is CDL/UCOP responsible for the comparison report or individual campuses?

    • FY23 - comparisons were conducted after the non-ILS stats were also reported.

  • Alma syncing issues report - ongoing

Create subcommittee to create comparison report and document process - Michele, Anna, and Denusha will meet Wednesday, 7/24 to compare large data points and report back to group
