| 3 | P2P Testing Conclusions; wrap up “testing phase” of Extend Alma Resource Sharing with UC P2P | Testing in all UC SBs: | 25 | Kristen | Wrap up discussion. We’ve all been testing P2P for a while now: do we feel like it meets our needs as well or better than the AFN currently does? UCR group testing was successful; disliked how hands-on workflow was UCD group felt successful - worried about workflow complications; liked better analytics & manage-able, disliked how hands-on workflow was UCSF: workflow impacts external depts at UCSF (access services), for paging & filling reqs; UCR feedback - pick from shelf not auto (have to move reqs to pfs for phys items, in lending workflow) UCSB: configuration hurdles prohibited full testing UCB/UCSC group: configuration hurdles as well, unable to test workflow fully; lending workflow creates big changes & lots manual workload - inhibits buyin, severely delays nrlf (and srlf) reqs at least a day (ucr suggestion: no rlf p2ps only afn - should send this question to ExL) UCB/NRLF: forces NRLF to become RS library, meaning that patrons have to be assigned to UCB RS Library - changes patron load & existing patrons CDL expresses concerns about cooccurrence of Tipasa implementation during proposed timeline UCSC proposes to table & revisit after tipasa implementation | temp check to golive in jan 2025: mostly 1s and 2s, two 4s
