(STANDING ITEM)

Subteam Roundup

Check-in on OSTs - capture any shared issues or cross-team task

5

Team

RS OST: major sub-projects: Tipasa Transition pilot in progress (pilot through Jan23; real golive summer23) → possible cross over with RM & ERES/ACQ, stay tuned…..; RS Analytics ‘phase 1’ (schedule c: Alma data) to be delivered nov 1 (for whole schedule c submission in dec); will be working through feedback on Timing of anonymization rules in order to capture AFN digitization analytic reports

F OST: Team is currently working on harmonizing AFN policies and procedures such as lost AFN items, claims return, webpage fine and fees content and more. Our consortial block testing this week was canceled to allow team members to attend the SILS Town Hall. Team also discussed the AFN anonymization proposal.

ACQ: added Sherry to our meetings while Lisa M is out, mostly making sure communications are open while we wait for CDLNZPT to have items for testing/input.

RM: Finally testing out the new CJK search and the good news is that the new settings do seem to fix the issues with CJK resources; will be hosting a WorldCat updates session soon-ish

ERES: While waiting for CDLNZPT, we are learning about how other institutions track their perpetual access license data at title level, first as a major retrospective project and then as a reoccurring maintenance issue. Complex given titles transfer publisher to publisher, cease publication, and then transition between Tier 1 and local purchases.

3

Timing of anonymization rules

Develop a better understanding of the implications of this proposed change and discuss the timeline and any needed modifications.

Timing of anonymization rules in order to capture AFN digitization analytic reports

What are the implications for Fulfillment?
This seems to affect individual campus data retention policies. Also, since this affects the Data Privacy and Security Project team, this may also need to go to Leadership Group since the data privacy team reports directly to them.

Quarterly Update : CDLNZ-PT Quarterly Update: August 2022

QUESTION: Is it worth discussing a library Tech group again (LTAG)? → OT steering committee

CJK update

Share the discussion from 9/19 ExL Support meeting

10

Tom

There are still concerns about performance, especially in production.

This goes on the ExL support agenda Monday 9/19

6

ERES workplan

Understand statewide analytics reports and need for educational support

Phase 4 transition item for this new group - we were hoping to get guidance from AllChairs: what reports are needed and what actually is this item?

Maybe it’s best to wait on that item (or any other similar) for the Statewide Data Analyst or the Data team at CDL to call for more information.

Also: OSTs are empowered to remove items if they don’t make sense or adjust as needed.

7

OST updates

Find out if folks want to do an official update via the questionnaire template

There’s been a big learning curve between OST kickoff and now, and significant turnover - a collective learning/assessment process sounds great.

Not mandatory, but wanted back before the end of the year.

@Mallory Gianola Please make copies of the PT check in template for the OSTs as well.
