6 | Perpetual Access | Guidelines for local practice, given NZ records do not display if local portfolio is a duplicate | 15 min |
| Perpetual rights and tracking ERES workplan Complexities with post-cancellation access: what happens if a title moves to a new publisher after we cancel? Will the perpetual content remain at the old site? Will Ex Libris delete the old portfolio (possibly incorrectly?) If all content moves to the new publisher, will they honor our the perpetual access rights? What if we don’t have a pre-existing relationship with the new publisher? Helpful to document what’s happening at the time the title moves, but do we have the bandwidth to follow title transfers this closely? Much of this information may be in email now, but would be more helpful in ERMS. Presentation Link https://link.mnsu.edu/pcacollections 40-minute full session - ERMN PCA Collections New.mp4 (video is stored on OneDrive, enter email and a verification code will be sent) ** We will watch this video together at 9/29 meeting and discuss |
