Prototype Review https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IBV9tKyvO3xq-UZeuLoeEViSmBwgp2YO/edit#gid=545327237

40m - @Daisy Nip

Review and discussion:

  • We can include high-level summary tables, where possible, for each sheet - to make the data more user friendly. (Though we should still provide the detailed data tables, as well.)

    • Some formatting clean-up is still needed.

  • Folks can/should be consulting with their local experts as we go; when we export the data in early July (“for real”), if there is a strong need to revise a query for the 22/23 export, then we can do that. We should also expect to do some iteration/changes for reporting 23/24 (next year).

  • Withdrawn by FY is impacted by the broader date issues noted earlier (per 05/30 decision, Withdrawn counts will continue to be reported for FY22/23).

    • Daisy still needs to incorporate UCI stat note to reflect withdrawn materials.

  • Many thanks to Daisy for all of her hard work!!

Decision: It’s unnecessary to track in-house use as part of annual stats. Agreement to delete.

Decision: Schedule E (circulation) should remain by the current FY only (this schedule should not report cumulative physical circs).

Decision: “Available elsewhere” for Schedule A Electronic should be removed (it is a necessary component of the query design; but in the export, it should be hidden or manually removed).

If there are any other campus query customizations needed, please send those to Daisy asap.
@Daisy Nip will update the prototype and will re-share, for review next week.
@Ellen Augustiniak , @Daisy Nip and @Lisa Wong will check whether NZ queries can be shared for folks to view/run. (Besides UCB and UCLA, NRLF and SRLF holdings won’t be viewable unless the query is run at the NZ.)
