STANDING ITEM: review ongoing work

Are any of us stuck? Do we need escalation for anything?

2

STANDING ITEM: Any AskSILS / SILS News or other tool requests?

Are there blockers for anything that’s come in? Are there any we need to talk about?

Organization Name Change Update

Update and next steps

GSL

Not the best response from ExL; sf case 06620571

gsl to test what might be fixed; email SB as appropriate

5

CDL Analytics

How to figure out who is in charge of what.

GSL

related:upcoming workshop on alma analytics objects; gsl to pursue granting appropriate permission for person to attend workshop

6

SILS Roster

What do we do with project teams that have been discharged but aren’t part of a former phase?

GSL

https://libraries.universityofcalifornia.edu/sils/rosters/

→ Caitlin and Maureen will have a project to clean this up.

7

Norm Rule Changes

Should we look at ways to prevent norm rule changes without SILS Op Center being informed? (Or do any tracking of norm rule changes?)

GSL

NZ rule affecting OCLC batch updates was changed → no notified pushed with changes

can see last update time, but not what was updated

sf case 07082428; better audit trail; versioning; better permissions management

github workaround? load rule into gh & have gh give notifies → gsl look for obvious api; follow up consideration about periodic diff checks if no auto

8

CDL/SILS Communication Structure

Would like more info about the communication structure/pathways between CDL and SILS (mentioned in LG update in OT 3/6/2024)

GSL

This was specifically talking about trials/pilots but I’m wondering if it would be useful for our NZ Access work.

→ Caitlin to take this to CN/SH
