Is the Charge Finalized? We thought it was, but the roster is not there.

• Tom will add the roster to the charge after today’s meeting, and that is the last thing needed to be done

• Tom called a vote to finalize and vote was unanimous

• OT would host a townhall in Spring 2025

• LG would host a townhall in Summer 2025

• Format, timing, and content for the townhall was discussed

• The UC protocols.io (http://protocols.io) trial is up, will assess level of systemwide interest in renewing membership.

• Subgroup of DOC members finalizing the Framework to Support Innovation proposal

DOC discussed the DRAFT Process for Reporting SILS Principles Concerns document. DOC is generally supportive of having a process in place for future issues that arise. ST added two edits to the document based on DOC’s conversation:

• add DOC as a source of support earlier in the process. Given that many Chairs/Vice Chairs are not supervisors, DOC members could help provide guidance in trickier situations.

• clarify what is meant by “manager”--I am pretty sure we meant direct supervisor.

• An updated copy of the document is here.

• 9/17 DOC meeting is canceled to accommodate the 9/18-9/19 in-person CoUL meeting.

• DOC approves creation of CKG for Collections Strategies

• DOC spent majority of meeting planning for our time with CoUL on 9/19

next steps: SILS LG to incorporate edits/comments within the document. ST will then share with DOC again via email, and will offer DOC members the option of a follow-up discussion within DOC if desired.
