Basecamp Review

Review with FG items from Basecamp from other groups, pertinent to scope.

Lisa S./All

Quick review together.

See new Acq/ERM document to help us all find the recordings and the special meeting times, days, and links. This includes the 8/27 session on NZ workflows/shared vendors.

8/21: Review Migrated Orders response from Laurie.

Already Alma campuses, identify any issues you had with migrating orders

Ex Libris Session Debrief

Debrief from Acquisitions session. Ready for the NZ/Shared Vendors call.

10

Lisa S. / Holly / All

Outstanding questions to ExL regarding:

  1. “technical” order lines in migrations

  2. migration of POLs as automatic vs manual renewal

Planning for Assessment/Testing for Vanguard

Continuing discussion for assessment and testing from FG perspective. Finalize roadmap to deliver testing plan to PPC by August 28th.

30

All

Using Issues/Questions to capture/triage testing items as tracking infrastructure developed.

  • Grouping and refining FG-level testing. Submit by 8/28 to PPC. General scope, not in deep detail.

  • For presentation purposes, we will stick to presenting the broad areas of testing as opposed to more granular data/workflow checks

  • Acq/ERM FG will continue to refer to FG Google docs for more detailed testing planning

For 8/26:

  • Reviewing/finalizing FG testing access requests.

  • Order of access to Vanguard test load (currently being planned - not finalized)

    • Vanguard campuses test their data first

    • There currently a plan for a process by which non-SILS cohort members can be added for testing purposes after VG

    • @Mark Hemhauser (Unlicensed) requests that Vanguard campuses double up with current Alma campus staff to test Vanguard data

  • Testing Access Discussion: Central Vanguard Testing Access Doc and Acq/ERM FG Testing Access Working Doc

  • Where are we on 8/26, and what do we need to have for 8/28?

    • AEFG Subgroup 8/18 Discussion Notes

      • AEFG should consider broader system-wide functionality and relationships.

      • ILSDC report on testing; how to approach additional e-resources (or other items)

7

Wrap-up

Identify/confirm next actions

5

All

@Lisa Spagnolo will recommend: current Alma campus staff in Acq/ERM FG should have access to Vanguard campus Alma instances
  • All modules

  • Designate a testing lead at each Vanguard campus to prevent scope creep

  •

@Lisa Spagnolo will request additional sessions for this FG from ExL
