Checkin/quick updates/anything from slack or email

  • Don’t forget to check the Task report for your outstanding tasks and check them off when done.

  • Proposal to use the Op Leads time on Tuesday for PMs only and Thursday meeting for Com Leads.

    • Alternative suggestions:

      • Break up the time at each meeting 30/30 mins?

      • Add an additional meeting each week for PMs only?

  • Ask Discovery FG to consider how we might do some show and tell of Primo for SILS News over time. We don’t want to go live to be the first time staff see it. Sneak previews curated; may require commentary about what will change/be decided so we don’t accidentally mislead. What is the timing on this? When is the latest to start?

    • As soon as Discovery is comfortable with sharing; the sooner, the better. The intent is not to get feedback on the interface.

    • Part of go-live training for staff is to learn about Primo VE. Basic training on Primo VE will happen in 6 weeks before go-live. Look at Primo should be before then.

    • AGREEMENT THAT PROVIDING PREVIEWS IS A GOOD IDEA.

    • Could do a show and tell in a cohort TH.

    • Could do show and tell for TH public version (needs to go through EUOS)

  • Tuesday Com Leads meeting + Lena/Christine required; others as desired/needed

  • All meet T before TH meetings MANDATORY; agenda items at beginning of meeting.

  • Thursdays for PM (invite B&A as needed)

  • Do not change any of the calendar invites. Leave everyone on both.

  • For Primo VE “show and tell”: agreement this is a good idea. Check with Discovery to see when they would feel comfortable sharing what that interface looks like.

@Ben Alkaly (Unlicensed) and @Adrian Petrisor to discuss Primo VE previews in SILS News and TH’s. Create a timeline; define what needs to be in place to do this? Minimum viable/visible/visual product (Include Neil).

  • Consider a buddy system, pairing a new campus with an existing Alma campus for the local implementation teams. Match by size (student count): Davis, Irvine, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz.

  • 9/29 Danielle joins for Plan B discussion at 11:00am. if Plan B is enacted, what kind of on-ramp/timeline Ben, Adrian and Danielle will have (to wrap up current work)?

  • Ben will be out for the 10/1 meeting

  • Lena is out on Friday 9/25

  • Premortem checkins - Hold for a future meeting

  • SSM for future meeting - Systemwide Work Planning - plan for the work CDL / systemwide groups will do to support the SILS

    • The document was created to gather the assumptions /brainstorms about what services CDL will be providing. Add them to the document as they arise for you

  • Neil/IT + PMs to consider a survey to cohort asking for feedback about Ex Libris trainings and other general meetings: was training coverage sufficient; what do they wish would have been covered? what other topics might need a deep dive? May be valuable for the existing Almas in particular. Timing: after vanguard workshops (10/2-9)
