When planning a SILS open to all meeting or training SILS Leadership Group recommendation is to
Send out a “hold the date” announcement
Brief information is okay
Zoom link doesn’t have to be included
Send this at least 3-4 weeks before the meeting
Send out a reminder
Include links to any pre-reads
Include any additional information about the meeting
Include the Zoom link
Send this at least 1 week before the meeting
Send out a second reminder
Include links to any pre-reads
Include any additional information about the meeting
Include the Zoom link
Send this at least the day before the meeting
Lists to email and who it goes to:
SILS Cohort (SILS-COHORT-L@listserv.ucop.edu)
Send to this list when you want to involve only those involved in the SILS governance structure, that is, members of the SILS groups.
SILS NEWS (SILS-NEWS-L@listserv.ucop.edu)
Send to this list when you want to notify those who have signed up to receive SILS news.
