DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

| Co-chairs of ITS, EUOS, and DFG met last Wed. Discovery’s recommendation is to have each campus host their own local PrimoVE first look session. EUOS seems to be in agreement with Discovery’s preference. After this meeting, EUOS put together slides for Intro to UC Library Search (for staff) - TEMPLATE that local teams can work off of. | We (DFG) will serve as subject matter experts if local groups have questions that we can answer/update/connect with the group that can best answer, as collected by ITS and EUOS. |

Do we want to harmonize on fields for display and facet purposes, and if so who will be doing that work/coordination? |

| 4 | FRBR for NZ | Discuss how to coordinate this for NZ harmonization | 20 min | All | Harmonize on FRBR Suppression Rules (we are the “R” & “A”) of this decision to be drafted; RMFG will also be an “R”). How to test? How to implement? We will want to consult additionally with the Digital Collections FG.
