Team

Extra week between meetings has been useful

A lot of video content to view

Decision making/configuration was later on in the process; a few months before go live

Print-electronic decisions really affected Discovery - need for strong communication

Need to continually ask locally- how does this affect Discovery

  • E-resources and cataloguing groups: beneficial to have understanding of SFX/link resolver and PRIMO VE interaction

  • UCSD: special collections ALMA integration decisions being made now

  • In many cases, decisions are being made for Vanguard campuses to pilot and test out- not for go live

All: Continue self-paced training (tentative timeline: by Vanguard implementation in fall) Sep 1, 2020
All: Try out Training Sandbox

CDL will work on branding with input from Discovery FG

  • At UCI, designer provides guidance (colors, font, ect.; locally applied)

Branding relates to questions about locally named catalogues/tool

Adopt a new system-wide name?

Some campuses have made a conscious decision to “unbrand”
