Testing and access to the vanguard

Testing agreed upon:

  • Give the vanguard campuses a while to get their own house in

  • View-only access for people to see what UC data would look like in the NZ

    • Patron data viewing was the hang-up

    • But we’re all UC employees - shouldn’t that cover us?

    • If we can solve the patron data problem, what kind of permissions would be needed to see what they need to see?

  • Needs survey to find out which modules and which things people need to see - in order to create the set of roles needed for

  • “Vanguard buddy” - is it a reciprocal relationship, where the non-VG gets access to the data / env, and the VG campus gets to ask some questions and stuff?

  • FGs: get immediate access and a different testing plan that empowers all members

    • VGs are not making decisions outside of the context of the whole cohort

 

@Caitlin Nelson will followup with Sarah to ensure she’s aware of the concerns from ICs about vanguard environment.
